This photo i did the most work on. I first added the lamp photo and created the mask from the midtones and shadows. I then added the woods photo and added the lamp mask over it. I then played with the gradient map tool on the woods photo until i got my tropical feel. I then went to the base lamp photo and selected the lamp's shade, and erased everything around the shade in the woods layer with the lamp mask. I then kept the base lamp photo and the woods/mask layer open and got my effect.

I first created my mask by merging my shadows and midtones selections. i then created my mask layer which i placed the inverse of the flowers and mirror selection in the mask "template" area. then i picked my black brush and added a premade style that photoshop comes with. I colored everything and then erased it from everywhere in the mirror. i then went to the base layer and used the poster edges adjustmetn layer i set it to Edge thinkness = 0 Edge Intensity = 10 and Posterization = 0. I then kept the base and top layer active and saved.

Very simple change, created my masks by using the midtones and shadows.
After merging and inverting i made a new layer and added the mask layer.
Then i filled the left side of the mask layer with black and kept the base layer active.
This made everything look darker and more glossy.
